My beautiful little Annie is obviously very photogenic (wriggly, but cute).
The next 3 pics were taken by the lovely Anna from Sydney, must be the name that makes them so nice
(of course I won't mention that my full name is Sally-Anne ... nor that my uncle used to call me Sally-Anna ...sshh :-)

Kimbo's lessons in how NOT to mow the lawn
OR
"Throw another shrimp on the mower will ya Darl!"

Poor Davy, and he ain't gonna mow no more!

how true is this warning on Davy's chassis????

June 2007
Little Jo Digger the short-beaked echidna.
He was rescued after being run over by a slasher.
He was so cute and a real little digger as you can see by the pic (right)
of him trying to dig under me. Unfortunately all the love and care
in the world was not enough to save him and he died after being with
us for a month, it was very, very sad.

August 3rd 2007
our baby turns 14 - how did that happen?
Of course she had a real grown up party, with party hats and lollypops.

Marni has been doing Medieval Studies in Social Science at school.
Most of it was hands on, they then had the challenge of researching,
then building a castle complete with details of all the parts.

So Marni & her friend Elise came up with the goods.
And what a castle it was! Completely built from boxes & junk.

Maid Marni

Dax loves nothing more than to cuddle up in HIS bed with his teddybear.

(left) Daxy had a birthday too, he was 6.

Annual KickArts Exhibition, Cairns

my dear friend Jo

Each year KickArts gallery in Cairns holds a fundraising exhibition. All artists produce works of the same miniature size, and with the
same theme. Of course that theme is subject to interpretation. This year was "Flight". I decided to paint Billy Thorpe (I was pretty upset
when he died ealier this year - cos we didn't ever get to see him in concert - very inconsiderate of him I thought).
So my "Flight" painting was flight of spirit. It is entitled "Blue Day ... Peace Billy Thorpe".

The paintings are sold via silent auction, with half the proceeds going to KickArts and the rest to the artist.
I am yet to find out if mine sold, and for how much.

Link to me singing a couple of tunes, I was just messing around, so the quality is a bit hows-your-father. Sals songs

Link to Daxy singing along with Marni and her sax. Might have to send him out to work the pub circuit I reckon. Daxy and Marni
