Us in Tassie somewhere, judging by the winter woolies. 14th September Kimbo organised a Memorial Ride from Tully & Mission Beach our destination - the magnificent Wind Farm at Ravenshoe on the Tablelands.

who managed to spot 2 adult cassowaries and 4 chicks on her first visit to Mission Beach, all in the same day!
25th October ooh, that'd be Sal's Birthday! I actually had birthday celebrations the night before at Oceania with a heap of friends and a whole stack of television stars who were having a Sea Patrol function. So what were we doing on the 25th??? We were at Lauren & Derek's engagement party - theme - "Heaven & Hell"

And what did this little angel do after the party - why she went busking at the market of course. Selling bandana's and raising money for CanTeen. I can tell you it was flaming hot in the sun talk about slow roasted angel, but all up I raised $200 so I guess it was worth it Sea Patrol Channel Nine was back this filming the third season of it's drama series Sea Patrol. It was fun and exciting having the town bustling with actors and film crew again. Marni was thrilled to meet and get autographs from all of the cast, including getting a kiss on the cheek from star Ian Stenlake and of course having her pic taken with "Swaino" aka Matt Holmes along with her equally eccstatic friend Shantel who was having her first Sea Patrol encounter.
I have to confess, it is very strange looking at our beach and jetty with a thumping great Navy boat sitting in the middle of it. And then of course there are the sounds of battle happening too!
Taken on the last night, the film crew were packing up, the Navy blokes were all at the pub (that we had just left) getting nicely plastered, when we drove passed the jetty to see the moon rising over the boat. Talk about speckie! 12th November Kimbo's new toy - a Nimbus Unicycle red of course!
elbow, knee, shin and wrist guards are on order. mmm... wonder if you can get butt protectors too?
