Dog's Songs updated 26th June 2008 On the 6th April 2008 Kol, Doug & Sal performed an acoustic set at the Bottom Pub in Wynyard. Thankfully the "Media" was there to capture this momentous occasion on their phone. It was the first time we had ever performed acoustically together, the first time that Kol had played my acoustic guitar, the first time my acoustic bass had been out in public and we had a ball. back to Sal's Music Home Page

I had never played it on bass before AND had never sung it before. Dougie (on drums) usually sings this song. But when we played together before, we used to tune our guitars down 1/2 a tone. On this particular day, we hadn't done this, and Doug discovered that he couldn't sing it. So after we had started playing and he discovered this, it was decided that I would sing it. I did OK considering, along with much laughing and prompting from Doug, and me trying to check out what the heck Kol was playing so I knew what to play.
